I like the overall wide, 'empty' darkness of this album (in comparison to other beautiful M&D albums) But it's done in a very serene way somehow. So although it seems quite dark at times, it's calming at the same time. Like there's no need to be afraid and time is just timeless... Like a 74 minute (lonesome) trip through an uninhabited, layered landscape...
